HARNESSING INTELLECTUAL CREATIVITY FOR
We are an integral part of the University of Oxford with a unique niche, allowing some of the best researchers in the
world to attack novel problems in ways that they would not be able to otherwise. We link the Oxford research
community with decision-makers throughout the world to help ensure their creativity is focused on what will
really make a difference to future generations.
We assess potential research projects by their scale, excellence and impact. Proposed projects need to demonstrate outstanding research
excellence and the potential for significant impact in contributing to a solution.
We support our researchers both in the unique challenges of solutions-oriented research and in disseminating the outcomes to effect real world
change. We give them the time and space for collaboration, discussion and debate.
We contribute to global research projects and advise policymakers around the world on how to approach the pressing issues the world faces. Our programmes work with
organisations as diverse as the World Economic Forum, WWF, the World Health Organization, the Intergovernmental Panel on
Climate Change, CITES and national governments to ensure our cutting edge research reaches around the world.

We help policymakers understand
the scientific evidence, while being policy neutral. Oxford Martin Restatements
help non-specialists in the policy world understand the evidence base underlying
areas of particular policy concern or controversy.
We are proud to number organisations as diverse as The Nature Conservancy, Citi and the Wellcome Trust among our active partners.
Supporters and partners, from the philanthropic or corporate sectors, are a vital part of our
success. We are always interested in discussing further support for existing programmes,
as well as exploring new projects and collaborations.
